Gas Liquids Engineering (GLE) is a recognized global leader in the engineering of acid-gas injection (AGI) systems — encompassing CO₂, H₂S, and mixed-acid-gas compression, dehydration, and sequestration facilities. Since our first AGI project in 1995, GLE has designed more than 40 CO₂/H₂S sequestration systems worldwide and has supported dozens more, with streams ranging in composition from 99% H₂S to 99% CO₂. Over nearly four decades, GLE has developed industry-leading expertise in acid-gas phase behaviour, hydrate and corrosion management, compression technology, control systems, and safe, flexible AGI system design.

GLE is the original developer of the patented DexPro acid gas dehydration Process. DexPro is a commercially proven moisture-management solution for CO₂ and H₂S service that operates at compressor inter-stage pressures without desiccants or chemical handling, minimizing footprint and operating cost.
AGI facilities are among the most safety-critical and technically complex systems in the energy sector. Acid gases can form corrosive acids, as refrigerants, solidify under transient conditions, and embrittle conventional materials — requiring advanced thermodynamic modelling, rigorous materials selection, and carefully engineered compression and control strategies. GLE’s engineers specialize in acid-gas behaviour, rotating-equipment design, process safety, and CO₂/H₂S dispersion modelling.
GLE has designed, permitted, and commissioned AGI facilities in both remote and semi-populated regions, managing regulatory processes and developing detailed safety cases across jurisdictions. We work closely with reservoir and well-completion specialists to ensure seamless surface-to-subsurface integration and support stakeholder engagement throughout project development.
